Baripada on 17/11 (Fast News Odisha) today at the Mahatma Gandhi conference room in the District Collector’s office, the Minister of Housing and Urban Development Dr. A review meeting on women empowerment has been held under the chairmanship of Krishnachandra Mohapatra. Mainly in Mayurbhanj District, there was a discussion about how the economic growth of women will happen in the future so that they can be more independent in the financial sector. The various departmental officers of the district discussed how to implement the benefits of various schemes launched by both the central and state governments towards the development of women at the grass root level in the society. In the first phase of Morada Constituency, camps will be organized to empower women in the financial sector and improve their livelihoods at each village panchayat level, and arrangements will be made for proper marketing of the products produced by women entrepreneurs and various self-help groups with the help of Ormas and ITDA. Additional District Collector Ishwar Chandra Naik, Minister’s PS Ram Chandra Soren, Additional Development Officer Shantanu Kumar Naik, PA ITDA Pranay Behera and district level and block level officials of various line departments were present and participated in the meeting.
