Berhampur, 21/9/2025: The centenary year program of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will start from September 25 this year and will continue till October 2, 2026. The association has completed 100 years of its establishment. In 1925 Vijaya Dethami Tithi in Nagpur, Maharashtra. This association was started by Keshav Sabhiram Hedgegobar. It is now recognized as the largest voluntary organization in the world. Currently, its branches are being managed in different countries of the world under the leadership of the 6th Sarangchalala, Most Reverend Mohan Bhagwatji. RSS is organizing various social and organizational programs for a year on the occasion of its centenary year. Its purpose is the awakening of India for the welfare of the world, from the building of individuals to the building of nations. The aim is to expand union work, educate society, awaken organizational strength and develop social leadership. From 25th to October 2nd Vijaya Dehami celebrations, youth gatherings from October 15th to November 15th, door to door contact in December, Hindu conference in January 2026, social harmony meeting in February, meeting of major civic groups in April and again from September 25th to October 2nd, 2026 will be organized in most places of all income groups branches. In a press conference held at Utkal Ashram on Sunday morning, RSS Odisha (East) Utya Prakhari Chief Sumant Panda gave detailed information in this regard. RSS Ganjam Division Union Leader Dr. Bhagwan Tripathi (Retired Chairman, Asika Science College), Ganjam District Union Leader Dr. Prashant Pati (Retired Chairman, Homeopathic Medical College) was present. Madhav Nayak introduced the guest while Prahllad Manigarahi proposed the vote of thanks.
