Malkangiri, 17/9/25: Today, the inauguration ceremony of the “Healthy Women Empowered Family Campaign” was held at the Community Health Center Kalimela Anukuli. MP’s district representative Sanjay Sarkar attended the event as the chief guest. MLA Malkangari’s representative Harbilas Mandal joined as a guest. Along with this, Dr. Nihar Ranjan Praharaj, Chief Family Welfare Officer of Malkangari District Health Department, District Project Officer Mausumi Mishra, Vaccination Data Assistant Shivprasad Praharaj attended.
State level monitoring team Saroj Manigarahi, RMNCH Consultant and Group Program Consultant Mohammad Rafi also attended. Medical experts from the district like Dr Prafulla Kumar Behera, Dermatologist, Dr. Nihar Ranjan Praharaj, Dermatologist, Dr. Satash Mishra, Paediatrician, Dr. Ashok Kumar Khamari, Ophthalmologist, Dr. MM Abid Hussain, Psychiatrist, Dr. Niranjan Behera Nasa Throat and Ear Specialist along with Dr. Dinbandhu Mahanand from Kalimela, Gynecologist and Obstetrician. Treated patients. In this program, 158 female patients were enrolled and treated with various types of blood tests. In this program, the supervisor of the Integrated Child Development Project, the organist and the teacher of the Education Department also conducted a health test. Aspirants of Health Department, Nursing Officer and other women officers also took the health test. Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Karya Yojana and Gopbandhu Jan Karya Yojana cards were distributed to 46 beneficiaries. A free blood donation camp was also organized and 22 units of blood were collected. 25 trees were planted in the Kalimela area of Chara Group Health Center under the program named Ek Paid Maia K. A large number of residents of Kalimela participated in this program. The program was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Damodar Das Modi, in the city of Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
