Nuapada: A peace committee meeting has been held at the District Council Office, Khariar Road meeting house announced by Jok Thana. Agami Sharadiya Durga Puja and Raban Pa system were discussed in the meeting as to how to observe peace and order in Khariar Road city and other villages under Jok Thana. The main requirement of the meeting was to discuss this relationship in detail with the various Puja committee members. Plans and programs for Lord Durga’s puja and ritual cremation were thoroughly discussed and agreed upon. In the above meeting various members of the Durga Puja Committees at Joon Police Station Adwan, SDPO Nuapada Sivara Mishra, Additional Tehsildar Gauri Majhi Pan, IIC Pradeep Kumar Dharua, Notified Area Council Chairperson Sonia Jain, Executive Officer Kamalasen Rath, Engineer Electrical, Fireman, Medical Staff, Engineer Phd Khariar Road were present. And other dignitaries of the city including Sandeep Sharma, Prem Daga, Mahendra Singh Taluja, Deepep Jain, Sunil Soni, Goldi Agarwal, Shyam Kesharwani, President of the Trade Union were present.
