Baripada 23/11 (Fast News Odisha) Sengel Conference for Samaj Samudhar and Sarna Dharma Ekta has been held under the chairmanship of Baripada Zonal President Naran Murmu of Tribal Sengel Abhiyan at Mayurbhanj District Retired Civil Servants Bhawan. Sengel Dishom Pargana Sunaram Soren was the chief guest, Central Sengel Coordinator Budhan Marndi, Sengel State President Narendra Hembram, Women’s Morcha State President Malha Marndi attended the conference as the chief guest of honor to save the unity of tribals and tribal society in the name of society’s traditions, eradication of drugs, superstitions and social norms and stop collection of arbitrary fines, empowerment of women. He also said that it is absolutely necessary to bring about democratic reforms in the self-government system and to implement the Sarna Dharmakod of the nature-worshipping tribes.
