Baripada – Thu :- 09/09/2025 In the district level school sports competition held at Rik Bishoi SSD High School, 6 students of Punchandrapur Government Higher Primary School were selected from Baripada block level to participate in Kabaddi competition. Rakesh Behera and Bishnupada Mahanth among the top 6 students Nimai of 8th standard and Korna of 7th standard Gaz Tudu who dropped out during the Kabaddi team from Mayurbhanj district in the state level sports competition to be held in Sundargarh, Nimai of Shalbani village in Baripada Block I and Netaji Subash of Gaz School campus of Thakurjharan village in Karanjia. Chandra studies in the dormitory After returning from Bishoi, a grand welcome was given to the talented players in the presence of all the teachers/students of the school, all the hostel staff, students and parents near the school gate under the leadership of Principal Soumya Das. Senior teacher Somnath Singh, all teachers/students, Warden Saroj Kumar Savat, Accountant Gautam Panda assisted in the management of the program. But in the past, the students of this school have achieved success in various fields at the district, state and national level and have brought fame to the school.
