
Kalimela: A workshop has been held for group-based and social organization workers by the IGD NGO managed in collaboration with ITC Mission Sunharakal at Sadar Mahkuma, Kalimela Block, Malkangari District. For this, a special meeting was held in the block conference room. Maternal, Child, Health, Adolescent Health, Malnutrition Prevention, Anemia Prevention and Sanitation were thoroughly discussed in rural areas. IGD NGO state head Dr. Mukesh Kumar Sahu presided over the meeting and Shyam Sundar Naik of Kalimela block, Ratan Goldar, officer of Odisha Life Mission, Surendranath Barik of Seva organization, Srinivas Pange of Janash NGO were prominently present in this meeting. The IGD organization has called for every person to include small grains in their diet to eliminate malnutrition and anemia in rural areas. Each person was given nectar, lemon, and ornamental fodder. Pooja Chakraborty, Govind Sardar, Jhilli Seal, Nayami Khara and Abhay Mandal contributed prominently.
