Malkangari, 26/11/25: The Path festival will be organized with Maliwant, the folk festival of Malkangiri district. Today, a preparatory meeting has been held under the chairmanship of Deputy District Collector Ashni AL. It has been unanimously decided in the meeting that the path festival will be celebrated on December 7. It will be held on the road from District Collector’s office to DNK Street. It has been decided to organize Jhoti, Skating, Martial Arts, Dhanutire, Yoga, Health Camp, Dance Song Fancy Dress, Signature Campaign, Art Exhibition and Dog Show etc. in the festival. District Information and Public Relations Officer Pramila Majhi, District Culture Officer Santhras Narayan Panda, Assistant District Collector Ajay Mandangi, Shashank Mishra and all the members of the committee were present in this meeting.
