Malkangiri, 6/9/25: The District Magistrate emphasized for the beautification of Malkangiri Town Council. For that reason, District Magistrate Somesh Kumar Upadhyay visited various developmental works under Malkangari Town Council today. The District Magistrate visited the ideal crematorium under the municipal council, the newly inaugurated multi-purpose hall, the pond at Pradniguda and the fecal sludge treatment plant and monitored the proper maintenance of the projects. On this occasion, the District Collector has directed the municipal officials to improve all the necessary project infrastructure. Municipal Council Executive Officer Rajeev Lochan Naik, Municipal Council Engineer Indu Madhav Sarkar, Municipal Council Junior Engineer Padmanab Beti, Malkangari Block Assistant Engineer Abhijit Sethi, Engineer Saroj Samantharai, Roads and Construction Engineer-1 Sujata Dishari and Malkangiri CDPO were present in this visit.
