Baripada, 26-11-2025: Today, Constitution Day 2025 was observed in the conference hall located within the premises of the Mayurbhanj District Collector’s Office under the chairmanship of Additional District Collector Shri Dukhabanndhu Nayak. Speaking on the occasion, Additional District Collector Shri Nayak stated that today is a significant and meaningful day for all citizens of our country. On 26 November 1949, under the leadership of the great visionary Dr. Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, we agreed to adopt the world’s largest Constitution, drafted to guide our self-governance. This Constitution is the soul of our nation. He further mentioned that although it is difficult to read and understand the entire vast Constitution, we all must know the soul of our country. By understanding the Preamble, which forms the first part of the Constitution, one can comprehend the entire governance system of the nation. Following this, the Additional District Collector led the officials and employees present in reading out the Preamble of the Constitution of India. Officials from various departments— including PA, ITDA Kaptipada, Karanjia, the District Welfare Officer, District Social Security Officer, Deputy Collectors of various sections of the Collectorate, Assistant Collectors, and many staff members—were present at the event and participated in reading the Preamble.
