Chikiti block level Gurdivas ceremony was celebrated with great joy at Chikiti penth Bijupatnayak Kalyan Mandap of Ganjam district Chikiti block, in favor of new pension scheme Chikiti primary teacher Sanshadesh. Guru plays an important role in every person’s life. The Guru is the only guide to prevent darkness from the false path and light the path to the true path. Teacher’s responsibility towards society is very important. On the occasion of Gurdivas, Chikiti MLA Mr. Anuran Dayan Samantara attended the program as the chief guest, while Chikiti Education Officer Mr. Pannag Bhushan Majhi was the chief speaker, Deputy Education Officers Mr. Naik Sethi and Meghnad Behera and Federation President Mr. Trilochan Pradhan Manchasin were the guests of honour. First of all MLA Shri Samanthara started the meeting by lighting the island. MLA Shri Samanthara in his speech said that gurushisha relationship is a sacred bond of Indian tradition and culture, Guru is always worshiped and respected while BEO Shri Majhi in his speech said that Guru’s responsibility towards students and society is very important.
The Guru said that it is necessary to perform one’s duty with duty, determination, integrity and exemplary power. Thus all the Manchasin guests present gave their valuable speeches. In the recent situation, concerns have been expressed regarding teachers being subjected to TT burden as an injustice and dealing with dire situations such as losing their jobs. In the end, 11 teachers and students who retired recently were given felicitations, flower bouquets and certificates and congratulations were given to the newly appointed teachers in Chikiti Block. The organized program was well conducted by the editor of the Federation Mr. Ranjan Kumar Bromha while teachers Mr. Arun Kumar Panda, Pradeep Sethi, G. Bailudu, Rajkishore Panda, Qureshu Sahu, Badrinath Panda, Bhavani Mahapatra, K. Jagannath Rao, Lingaraj Pradhan, B. Kedar Nath Subudhi, G. Venkat Ravana, Akshay Sahu, A.
