Kandhamal, (Fast News Odisha): The council meeting of Kandhamal district Baliguda NAC was held. The meeting was chaired by NAC chairman Govind Pradhan, while the executive officer Vivekananda Dallei was also present. Ajay Kumar Dakhayal, the councilor of Ward No. 1, got up in the middle of the meeting. He alleged that no information was being sought in the meeting. I asked about this in today’s meeting but the authorities are not giving any answer. They want to know some information about the council and they are saying that they will ask for the information by filing an RTI. Councilor Ajay Kumar Dakhaal has complained that the information is not being given even when requested in RTI. Therefore, in today’s meeting, there was no answer to this question and Mr. Dagial said that there is widespread corruption in the NAC. In this regard, the executive officer said, “The meeting can be held if one-third of the members are present.” So today there was a meeting with 5 councilors and they were asked to discuss the agenda. But he asked for the agenda and when the agenda was discussed, he was asked to discuss it but he got up and ran away in the middle of the meeting.
