
Malkangiri, 26/8/25: In order to bring transparency in the governance system, the state government has launched the ‘Aam Gham’ system to bring professionalism and behavioral changes in government offices through direct feedback collection system from citizens. Hon’ble Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi launched ‘Aam Gham’ portal today at a special function organized at Lok Seva Bhawan. All the districts of the state were involved in this program through Avasi. District Collector Somesh Kumar Upadhyay attended the program today at Oswan Hall in the District Collector’s office while Additional District Collector General Somnath Pradhan, District Welfare Officer Srinivas Achari, District Social Welfare Officer Gauri Naik, District Social Security Officer Nirmal Dharua, District Information and Public Relations Officer Pramila Majhi, District Council Finance Manager Manas Mishra, DGM Shubashish Patnaik attended the program. Through this system, the Chief Minister, Ministers and departmental officers will take the feedback of the citizens through telephone. Similarly, during field visits, government officials will take feedback from citizens through mobile apps. Through this, the Chief Minister and the administration will directly listen to the opinions of the citizens towards building a developed Odisha. In the first phase, 13 services of Panchayatiraj, Social Security and Empowerment of Disabled, Women and Child Welfare, Tribal Development, Agriculture and Farmers Empowerment, Food Supply, Health and Housing Departments i.e. 8 departments will be provided. Stakeholders can give their feedback directly through web portal, WhatsApp chart (91-7400 221903), chatbot, email, toll free phone call (14471) etc. Our governance platform will help state governments to get grassroots feedback.
