District Social Welfare Department Nabarangpur has organized a training camp related to Prohibition of Sex Act 1961 in Ashok Mehta Conference House! District Social Welfare Officer Draupadi Kaher informed about the aims and objectives of the said training camp and welcomed everyone! Deputy District Magistrate Prakash Kumar Mishra, Prohibition of Sexual Offenses Officer had an opinion on how to solve and diagnose complaints of sexual harassment! District Governor Dr. as the chief guest. Maheshwar said that the practice of sex in his society and the crime associated with it, rape is a social disorder and a punishable crime, taking and giving sex is a crime and everyone has the responsibility to root it out! The main reasons for the occurrence of sexual crimes are social traditions, gender inequality, financial greed, lack of awareness and education, fake social institutions, ineffective legal action! The district magistrate called for changes in sex crimes and the social system and emphasized how the Prohibition of Sex Act 1961 can be brought to the grassroots level! SDP and Saroj Punam Kishpata and District Legal Services Authority representative, Advocate Rakshi Jain were present as tools and provided training on sexual harassment and its detection, legal action! Above all, if the girls are educated and self-reliant and if they seek legal help in the case of sexual harassment after marriage, it is believed that this social disorder will disappear soon!
