Kandhamal, (Fast News Odisha): After a few days of silence, Maoist movement has again occurred in Belghar-Kotgarh police station border of Kandhamal district. During a joint combing operation by the SOG and CRPF jawans, an exchange of fire took place between the security forces after an encounter with the security forces in Mundimaska forest of Bilamal Panchayat. Some time after the exchange of fire between the two, it has been reported that the Maoists have surrendered. Search operation is still going on at the spot by SOG and CRPF jawans. It has been reported that the security forces raided the Maoist camp in the respective forest and seized a gun, food items and many Maoist items from there.
