
“Developed India Youth Leadership Dialogue – Youth Festival-2026” was inaugurated at the Government Girls High School campus in Nuapada District Sadramakhuma. The local upazilapal, Mrs. Surmi Soren joined the said youth festival as the chief guest and inaugurated the festival. Mr. Madhusudan Sahu, Headmaster of Government Girls High School, Mr. Sankarshan Purohit, senior local artist and art teacher of Odisha Model School joined as Chief Honorable Mentions. Chief Aruth Mrs. Soren said on the occasion of encouraging the young talents present, youth power must be developed for the development of our state and country. No matter how highly educated we are, we should not forget our culture, art, heritage and tradition. The said youth festival is a perfect medium to awaken the latent talent by always respecting the Gurujans and the youth should play a major role in nation building. Youth should always involve themselves in nation building and nation building. District Sports Officer, Nuapada, Mr. Rajendra Prasad Baide highlighted the Developed India Youth Leadership Dialogue-Yuvotsav-2026 and said that the youth contestants who secured the first place in the said event will qualify to participate in the State-level Developed India Youth Leadership Dialogue-Yuvotsav-2026 program to be held by the Department of Sports and Youth Services, Government of Odisha in the coming days. On the first day today, story writing, sketching competition, drawing competition and poetry writing competition were held. Team folk dance, team folk song and team science exhibition will be organized from 07.12.2025 onwards. Today, on the first day, a total of 309 young talents participated in the competition of four categories. The first, second and third place winners of the said competitions will be awarded by the chief guest of Udayapani festival tomorrow afternoon.
