Baripada – 15/12/2025 The centenary celebrations of the historic Brahma Temple located in Ward No. 10 under Baripada Municipality will be celebrated on the 20th and 21st of this month. All the preparations for this have reached the final stage. The temple was established in the year 1925 in the center of Baripada city under the patronage of the late Maharaja Sriramchandra Bhanjdeo of Mayurbhanj State and the Bhanj dynasty. In the preparatory meeting held in the presence of the chairman of the organizing committee, Maharaja Prabin Chandra Bhanjdeo, the members of the committee were present and gave their informed opinion. Unemployment Department Minister Prithviraj Harichandan, Housing and Urban Development Minister Dr. Saday confirmed that Krishna Chandra Mahapatra, Baripada MLA Prakash Soren and Maharani Rashmi Rajlakshmi Bhanj Deo will attend. The two-day event will be attended by eminent acharyas including representatives of Brahmo Samaj from various states.
