Baripada Deputy District Collector Dr. Mercysindhu Parida attended as the chief guest and gave a speech to the students about the ways and means of becoming good people. Krishnananda Mohanty, Mayor of Baripada Town Council, joined Baripada Group Education Officer Abhimanyu Sethi as a special guest and honored guest and advised them to get inspired by Vivekananda’s ideals and serve the neglected people in the society. In the beginning, teacher representative Ravi Narayan Panda introduced the guests while Principal Acharya Jayant Kumar Das gave the welcome address. Karthik Chandra Naik, General Editor of the Management Committee, presented the annual report. Anjali Soren was felicitated as the most meritorious student of the school. Likewise, in memory of the founder president Samanat Puruchottam Das and his wife Subashini Das, on behalf of his family, Dibyajyotsna Raut, the topper in the last matric examination, was presented with a Rana’s trophy along with a prize of one thousand rupees. Similarly, the chief guest felicitated the students who were in the state level, district level and block level topper list in the last matric examination. The students who participated in the annual sports competition and various district level competitions were felicitated. Later, various cultural programs were organized by the students.
