In the beginning, the District Chief Veterinary Officer Dr. Ramani Ranjan Vashal gave a welcome speech and gave a thorough explanation about the Chief Minister’s Kamdhenu Yojana, Chief Minister’s Agriculture Enterprise Yojana, Animal Wealth Prosperity Yojana, Chief Minister’s Animal Welfare Yojana. Milk, meat and eggs could be produced more in the state, a farmer from Odisha explained that he can become self-reliant and become a partner of self-reliant India. The District Fisheries Officer mentioned various schemes of the department like fish farming, biofloc, fish farming in village panchayat ponds. The chief guest and other guests explained the importance of the fair to the farmers and advised them to take advantage of all the facilities provided by the government at the fair. On this occasion, the invited guests felicitated Dekshish Nayak of Gopbandhu town as the successful animal husbandry of Banda district and Sagarika Captain, the successful chicken farmer on salary, with certificates and awards.
