An exciting match was played on the 8th day of the Bubarja Cricket Tournament Season-7 at the Bubarja Cricket Ground in Singjhar under the Sinapali Block of Nuapada District. In this important match, Kantbanji XI won by beating Balangir XI by 38 runs. Balangir won the eleventh toss in the match and decided to bowl first. Batting first, Kantbanji XI lost 7 wickets and collected 146 runs. Chasing the target, Balangir’s eleven were restricted to 108 runs for the loss of 10 wickets. In today’s match, Bulu Putel of Kantbanji XI scored 42 runs and took 3 wickets. He was awarded ‘Man of the Match’ for his all-round performance. Kharia Block Chairperson Pushpanjali Nand attended the match as the chief guest and encouraged the players.
