The cutting down of so many trees was condemned in the intellectual quarters. In the past days, NY Bhanjsena has also issued a demand letter to the district administration not to cut down the trees. However, even after broadcasting the news through various media about such a sensational incident, the government and the district administration remained silent and continuously cleared the forest day and night.
