Nabarangpur, (Ranjit Naik) Date: 24.12.2025 Rik: Yesterday 23.12.2025 Rik: Today, a preparatory meeting has been held for the celebration of district-level fish and live stock fair under the chairmanship of District Governor Maheshwar Swaymen! Animal husbandry and fisheries department and other departmental officials were present in this meeting! In this meeting, it was decided to organize the 2025 District Level Fish and Livestock Fair on January 4th and 5th, 2026 at the local PM Sri RCD High School playground! Nabarangpur District Collector Dr. Maheshwar expressed his opinion that the fair should be done with peace and order, with due respect to the guests invited to the fair. District Chief Veterinary Officer Dr. Radheshyam Laik presented the main purpose of the fair to the members in detail! The main purpose of this fair is how to reach the people and how the various schemes implemented by the Fisheries and Animal Resources Department of the State and Central Governments can be availed! In this fair, which is celebrated for two days, the programs of the Department of Fisheries and Animal Resources and other departments will be displayed through 25 stalls! In addition, farmers who have been involved in various schemes implemented by the Department of Fisheries and Animal Resources will be promoted! 700 fishermen and animal husbandry from different blocks of the district will participate in this fair every day!
