Kandhamal, (Fast News Odisha): A rare incident has happened in the village of K. Nuaga police station in Baliguda sub-district of Kandhamal district. The drug addict son-in-law has caused an open scandal due to a family dispute. An elderly mother-in-law has died due to a fatal attack in Tangia. The family admitted the elderly woman to Baliguda sub-district hospital in a critical condition, but the doctor shifted her to Phulbali district hospital after first aid treatment. But there the doctor declared death. According to information, Surat Pradhan, the son-in-law of Peti Malik of Sirtiguda village, is always addicted and quarrels in the family. A similar situation was seen on Saturday morning. When Surat got out of bed with his wife and attacked the woman with a tangia, when Surat’s old mother-in-law went to remove the belly button, Surat attacked her mother-in-law’s head. As a result, the old woman was seriously injured and fell down in a pool of blood. The family immediately took her to the Baliguda sub-district hospital and after primary treatment, she was transferred to the Phulbali district hospital.
