According to the information, Sushant Pare of Sanyasi village under Morada police station is a student of class 3 in a college under Rasgobindpur police station. However, while Jainak, a student of the said college, is from Morada police station area, the student ran away with Sushant’s friend. The Morada police called Sushant to the police station on the night of 25th to investigate the incident. However, when Sushant made a complaint that SI Nirak had threatened Sushant and beat him up and kept him in the police station despite severe cold, there was an atmosphere of dissatisfaction in the local area. However, the District Congress President Palachandra Biswal has expressed concern over the beating of a Harijan student in the police station. Today, on the orders of District Congress President, Rajiv Gandhi Organization under the leadership of former Town Congress President Shantanu Pal, State Secretary Minketan Behera, former leader Prathini Gauri Naik, women’s leader Bhubaneswari Jena, Nirlam Pradhan, former student Congress president Vikas Mahbhoi, Bhabani Shankar Sahu, student leader Abhishek Jacob Major Mayurbhanj SP conducted an investigation into the incident for beating up the student. A demand letter has been issued demanding strict action against the officer.
