Kandhamal, (Fast News Odisha): A block level environmental science fair has been held on the theme of sustainable lifestyle in Sipanjiri Advanced High School campus in Baliguda block of Kandhamal district. 33 students from 24 schools participated in it and displayed their talent. Group teacher Maheshwar Majhi attended the program as the chief guest and formally inaugurated the deep incense burner. Zoology lecturer of the local tribal college Himanshu Charansahu, junior engineer of the electrical department Keshari Swain, and chairman of Sirla Higher Secondary School Asit Kumar Sahu participated as judges. The best three projects from the block level were considered eligible to participate in the district level festival. Under the chairmanship of group teacher Maheshwar Majhi, forester D. Subash Chandra attended the function as the chief guest, while teacher Himanshu Charan Sahu attended as the keynote speaker and addressed the students on sustainable lifestyle and environmental protection. Local Additional Group Education Officer Padmalochan Panda, Teacher Rajni Sahu, Amarendra Pradhan and Saroj Kumar Nahak of CRCC and all the teachers, students and staff of the school were present and assisted in the programme.
