Baripada 06/01 (Fast News Odisha) Organized the farmers and recognized the importance of water management through water retreat, partnership irrigation management and ensuring equity at the grass root level, every year the water resources department of Odisha government organizes the water retreat across the state. In observance of this, today, Mayurbhanj District Irrigation Department launched a water evacuation awareness ride in the area of District Collector’s office by showing a green flag and said that economic development will be possible if the farmers work with awareness for the proper distribution of water. After the completion of the Rath Parikrama program, the district level water retreat will be held at Baripada on January 13th. Additional District Collector Dukhbandhu Naik, Ishwar Chandra Naik, Additional Chief Engineer of Baripada Irrigation Division Subrata Kumar Dash, Adhikshan Engineer Gudwa Pot, District Information and Public Relations Officer Vikas Ranjan Mohanty, Baripada SDPRO will be included in today’s program.
