On behalf of Mayurbhanj-1, its 21st scientific advisory congregation meeting has been held on the last 17th in Karjyalaya premises. The meeting was inaugurated by Prof. Prashanjit Mishra, Dean of Extension Department of Odisha University of Agriculture and Commerce through Abhashi. In this meeting, the program of the previous year and the action plan for the application of new technologies in agriculture and related fields were highlighted on behalf of the Agricultural Science Center. In the said program, the chief scientist of Atari, Indian Agricultural Research Institute, Calcutta, Dr. Dr. Kalyansundar Das, on behalf of the university. Tusar Ranjan Mohanty, Dr. For Parthasarathi. Director of ICAR-CIWA Dr. Mridula Devi, Assistant Director of Keonjhar Regional Agricultural Research Center Dr. Kishore Chandra Sahu and all the officials of the district level agriculture and allied departments attended and gave their valuable opinions and suggestions. The program was co-instructor Dr. Ravi Ratna Dash managed it. Along with this, in the presidential speech, Extension Officer Professor Prashanjit Mishra emphasized on how to increase the growth in the agricultural sector of the district and how to promote and disseminate new knowledge. In this advisory congregation meeting, the agricultural science center was promoted to try in the direction of how the tribal brothers and sisters can improve their business skills in the field of agriculture. On the occasion of this event, the quarterly magazine “Bhanjdhoom Farmer’s Talk”, and 2 booklets titled “Commercial Floriculture, Natural Agriculture” have been launched.
