Kalahandi Makund Naik -: 07/02 (Fast News Odisha) Block Level Disability Empowerment Camp – 2026 has been held in favor of the Government of Odisha by Social Security and Disability Empowerment Department in Phatki Meeul Village near Gopinathpur Village Panchayat, Thuamul Rampur Block, Kalahandi District. The camp was formally inaugurated by MP Block Representative Sahaliva Naik as the chief guest, while Lanjigarh Constituency President Bishnu Naik, local Sarpanch Dhansingh Majhi were present as guests of honour. Gopinathpur Gram Panchayat PIO Gorasingh Majhi, Block Social Security Officer Sunaram Soren, Block Supply Inspector Bibhuranjan Sahu, Welfare Officer Shudajit Swain, PIO Trilochan Naik, ADEO, GRS Sabhand Anya block staff contributed. A total of 159 people were registered in the camp. Dr. Avinash A., Negi, Dr. Ananthan Meher, Dr. Nivedita Maharana, Dr. Nivedita Sahu, Anyat Mohammad Aradhana Behura, Bhashan Chandra Sahu Lakpati Pujari Ashutosh Pradhan, Dr. Rajshri Priyadharini P&O, Dr. Pranab Kumar Meher (PT) Rohit Goud Medical team identified 67 patients among them with mobility impairment, vision 32 disabled people, 27 people with cerebral palsy, 23 deaf and dumb people have been identified. In the camp, 2 tricycles, 2 wheelbarrows and 2 walking sticks were distributed in the camp. The camp advanced rehabilitation center provided assistance from Kalahandi district.
