Malkangiri, April 08: As per the instructions of the Odisha government, a voluntary blood donation camp has been organized by the Malkangiri district administration on the occasion of the celebration of the Odiya Pakh-2026 grand ceremony in the entire state. The camp organized at FLC Hall in the District Collector’s office premises was inaugurated by Malkangari MLA Narsingh Madkami and District Collector Nathash Arvind Rajshirke as the chief guests. On this occasion, the Honorable MLA said in his speech, “Orthodox party is not only a celebration of language and culture, it is also an opportunity to serve humanity. By donating blood, we can save the lives of others, which is the greatest charity.” Likewise, the District Collector said, the administration is always determined to serve the people. Through this blood donation camp during orthodox observance we aim to overcome the shortage of blood during emergencies. The youth should be involved in this camp in large numbers. In this camp Malkangari Security Officer Vinod Patil H., Additional District Collector Rajswa Vedbar Pradhan, Chief Development Officer and Executive Officer Dasharthi Sarabu and Deputy District Collector Duryodhan Bhoi were the chief guests and encouraged the blood donors. The camp organized under the direct supervision of District Emergency Officer Pramita Ranjan Sahu was assisted by Senior Raj Swat Swat Kuna Nayak. In this camp, the employees and volunteers of various departments of the district administration voluntarily donated blood.
