Malgiya, 08/04 : After being elected as the new chairperson of Malkangiri District Malgiya Block, Dev Madi assumed her duties today. For this, a special pooja was organized in the block chairman’s office and Mrs. Madi took charge in the traditional manner. On this occasion, the block chairperson was felicitated with a bouquet of flowers. Ex-MLA Mans Madkami, who attended as a special guest on this occasion, said that since he has worked as a block president for 10 years in Kalimela block, the responsibility he will give in the development of the blocker will be very important. It is said that more than a hundred BJM workers from both Kalimela and Maliya blocks were present when Deva took over the responsibility. Block BJM president Chinam Rabid Kumar, senior BJM worker MD Farooq, Kalyan Bhom, Sheshhak Ravi Madri, Sanatan Biswash, Satyanarayan Majhi, K. Devendra Rao, more than a hundred BJM workers of Madiya and Kalimela block were present in this program.
