Madhya: A 68-year-old woman, Pandi Lachhamma of Madhya village, died in a fatal road accident near Malkangari district bordering Chhattisgarh district. After the accident, an old man died while being treated at Dornapal in Chhattisgarh, and legal proceedings were completed and he was brought to court. According to the information, an old woman named Pandi Lachmama of Madhya village was returning after going to the weekly market for kheja (bean trading) when a young man on a motorcycle came speeding from the left side and collided with an auto at a turn near Birla. Meanwhile, Pandi Lachmama, who was sitting on the left side, got seriously injured and fell down bleeding. Local people immediately rescued him and brought him to Dornapal Community Health Center for treatment. Pandi Lachmama died there while undergoing treatment. On the other hand, it has been seen that there was a shadow of mourning in the neighborhood due to the death of Pandi Lachmama.
