Malkangiri, 10/04/26: Malkangiri district administration has intensified the process for the development of remote indigenous areas. With an aim to bring government services to the corners of the inaccessible area, District Collector Nathash Arvind Rajshirke visited the remote Yangi Village Panchayat of Chittagong block and reviewed various development works with field visits. Despite geographical barriers, the District Collector and his team reached Yangi village by water from Chittarakonda spillway launch ghat by motor boat. Seeing the welcome dance performed by the Anganwadi children there, the District Collector expressed his happiness and praised them. The District Magistrate stated that the main goal of the administration is to make Engi Gram Panchayat an ideal panchayat. For this, a special blueprint has been prepared under the chairmanship of the District Collector. In the coordination meeting held at the Chittagong block office, the District Magistrate emphasized to all the departmental officers that the benefits of the government schemes should reach the final beneficiaries. The District Magistrate reviewed the progress of the under-construction Ghanbeda bridge to strengthen the communication system of the area. The District Magistrate expressed his opinion that the economic and social picture of the region will change if this bridge is implemented. On this occasion, the District Magistrate Mr. Rajshirke said, “We are giving priority to the development of Swaviman area.” Our main aim is to make the Jangi Panchayat an ideal panchayat and to deliver government services to the end beneficiaries. The completion of the Ghanbeda bridge will create a new chapter in the communication system of the region. During the visit, District Chief Development Officer Dasharathi Sarabu, PA ITDA Haldhar Shabar, Chittagong BDO Preeta Kumar and other senior officers of Rural Development, Roads and Buildings Department and other officials were present. The district administration reiterated that the district administration is always committed to continue this trend of development in Swaviman areas.
