Mayurbhanj, (17/4): The District Social Welfare Department has organized the 8th District Welfare Party under the chairmanship of Mr. Hemkant Say. On this occasion, he advised the consumption of wholesome food and the use of nutritious vegetables found in the cane garden in food to ensure proper food in the children’s diet. The meeting was attended by Additional District Governor Mr. Bhukabandhu Naik, District Chief Medical Officer Dr. Kishore Kumar Acharya, District Society Welfare Officer Mrs. Niharika Mohanty, Senior Scientist of Agricultural Science Center, Shamakhunta Asammitra Patnaik. On this occasion, stalls of various nutritious food products, healthy food and baby brain development products and various food stalls prepared from green vegetables were displayed by the Anganwadi workers, colleagues and mothers under the Child Development Project of 26 blocks of the district. All the CDPOs, women supervisors and Anganwadi workers of the district were present in this ceremony.
