
Malkangari, 28/4/26: Malkangari District Collector Ankash Arvind Rajshirke visited Kalimela block today with the aim of strengthening and speeding up the health care system in the district. On this occasion, he visited the Kalimela Group Health Center and inspected the treatment and facilities available to the patients there. The District Governor visited every ward of the health center and directly talked to the patients and inquired about their health status. He also held important discussions with departmental officials to make healthcare more patient-friendly. Strengthening health services in the remote areas of Malkangiri district is the priority of the administration, District Magistrate Arvind Rajashirke said. He directed the department officials to be vigilant so that the patients do not face any problem on a sunny day. In this context, an example of social cooperation was found in the infrastructure of the health center. In order to protect the local patients from the summer heat, 5 coolers have been provided to the health center by the District Utah Press Association with social responsibility. The community health center officials accepted it and the district governor said on the occasion, “When different sections of the society voluntarily join the public service with the government system, then the service is more effective.” During the District Collector’s visit, Group Health Center Officer Dinbandhu Mahanand and union workers were present and discussed the improvement of health services.
