Malkangiri, 29/4/26: Commissioner and Secretary of Rural Development Department and City GST Commissioner Jamini Shadangi visited Malkangiri district and reviewed various developmental works. During his visit, he reviewed the quality of road and housing projects in remote areas of the district and discussed various important aspects at the administrative level. Secretary Mrs. Shadangi visited the rural roads under construction from P.W.D road to Managuda and J.M. road to Wadiguda. In addition, he supervised various infrastructural development works of JMFC Court Complex at Mathil and Khairput and Mathil blocks. He gave strict instructions to the engineers present there to complete the work within the stipulated time. After the field visit, an important review meeting was held in the district council conference room. It was attended by various departmental officials including District Collector Arvind Rajashirke and Chief Development Officer Dasharathi Sarabu. In the meeting, the secretary said that rural infrastructure development is our priority. He also assured that the stalled projects reported at the government level would be resolved immediately. He directed all the government departments and implementing agencies to deposit TDS in GST office on time with special emphasis on financial transparency. It is very important to complete all projects within stipulated time and maintain quality of work. CCE of Sunabeda Rural Development Circle and SE, EE, AI and JE of Malkangari Rural Development Division-1 and 2 were present during the field visit.
