Baripada – 30/05/2026 2nd Annual DRK Cup Night Cricket Tournament organized by DRK Club Anukuli at Rich Madhuban Mini Stadium has been inaugurated under the chairmanship of the president of the tournament, Mayor Krishna Inanda Mohanty, former Deputy Speaker Sanand Marndi, prominent industrialist Girish Chandra Das and Municipal Commissioner Sam Das joined the tournament as guests. Among others, Vice President Kashi Rana, Acting President King Keshari Jena, Editor Sanjeev Dwivedi, Acting Editor Niroj Sahu, Media Coordinator Somnath Singh, Sports Organizer Amar Kumar Sethi, former cricketer Lalatendu Behera, Lohit Das were prominently present and encouraged the players. Batting first, Lalbazar Warriors collected 185 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. Dibyranjan Das scored 79 runs, Divyalochan Das scored 29 runs and Sudhakar Naik scored 26 runs, while Satkam Bharadwaj scored 3 wickets and Samantha Shekhar Pal and Aniket Singh scored 2 wickets each. They scored 111 runs for the loss of all wickets in 4 overs. Satyakam Bharadwaj scored the highest 67 runs for the team while Aditya Kumar Besa 4, Deepak Kumar 3 and Kamsa Sagar Bala took 2 wickets. The co-organizer Satyanarayan Jiu said that the tournament will continue till 12th. There is a prize money of 1 lakh 20 thousand for the champion team and 80 thousand rupees for the runners-up team.
