Baripada – 30/05/2026 Under 14 Chief Minister’s Trophy Football Championship organized by Sports and Youth Services Department of Odisha Government in collaboration with Football Association of Odisha, District Administration and Mayurbhanj Athletic Association at Rich Baripada Stadium Grounds has been won by N.Y.K. Udla High School won the championship by 3-0 goals.I Earlier in the girls’ section, Satkoshia, Chadheigaon team won by defeating Ladasahi Government High School by 9-0 goals.I Hon’ble Minister for Housing and Urban Development Dr.Krishna Chandrapater Maha attended as the chief guest and presented trophies to the champions and runners-up teams of both the divisions. Sports Officer Dr. Subhish Naik, Mayurbhanj Athletic Association General Editor Vijay Kumar Das, Co-Editors Baidyanath Rath, Ashok Patnaik, Rabindra Kumar Mohanty, Prasanjit Mohanty, former District Sports Officers Kumar Ranjan Panda and Pradeep Kumar Behera, senior sportspersons Vijay Kumar Das (Mantu Da) and Sunankar Jiu were present from both departments through this championship. A 20-member team has been selected for Mayurbhanj district, media coordinator Somnath Singh said, and both teams will participate in the zonal level championship to be held in Sundergarh from June 1 to 5.
