BJJ vice-president Tuna Das and editor Pramod Sahu had to welcome the suspended Chakramani Kanhar, who was in the limelight over cross-voting in the Rajya Sabha elections. In opposition to this decision, all elected committee members, district council, panchayat committee members, students, women, active members of four blocks have resigned from their positions collectively. The resigned leaders said that the action taken against Tuna and Pramod was unfair and one-sided. They demanded that the party leadership immediately reconsider the decision. The people of Baliguda area cannot easily accept the suspension order of Tuna and Pramod, the two leaders who once won BJM MLA twice in Baliguda constituency and strengthened BJM from the grass root level. Tumudiband District Council and Block President Naveen Pan, Panchayat Samiti Adhaksha Basanti Majhi, Nuagaon Panchayat Samiti Chairperson Sulchana Dalbehera, Baliguda NAAC Adhikari Govind Chandra, Principal Vice President Minti Naik and former Vice President Loknath Padhi along with hundreds of workers have resigned.
