Baripada, representative: Biju Janata Dal, Baripada block has issued a detailed demand letter to the District Collector regarding the administrative disorder in Baripada block, uncooperative attitude towards public representatives and allegations of corruption and irregularity in various developmental works. A delegation led by former MLA and State Senior General Secretary of BJJ *Mr. Sanand Marndi* met the district magistrate and demanded an independent investigation into the various allegations raised against Baripada block video. The petition states that there is a lack of transparency in the implementation of various government schemes in Baripada block, while the views of the Panchayat Samiti members, Sarpanch and Block Chairman’s representatives are not given importance. Common people are facing various problems due to irregularity, violation of rules and administrative weakness in many development works. Due to this, the development process of the block is affected and the dissatisfaction among the people is increasing day by day.
On the occasion, Sanand Marndi said that the irregularity, substandard work and anti-public interest activities going on in Baripada block will not be tolerated anymore. And the block chairman Mr. Sundar Singh said that without giving importance to the elected representatives, Bidiya is only spreading lies on social media, and instead of solving the problems of the common people, the administration is avoiding its responsibility, he demanded the immediate intervention of the district administration. The BJJ has demanded an independent investigation of the allegations against *Baripada Block Video* within *7 days* and take strict action. Otherwise Biju Janata Dal will take the people with them and surround the Baripada block office and start Durbar agitation, Sanand Marndi has warned.
