Baripada: Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led BJP-NDA at the Centre. On the occasion of twelve years of government’s “service, good governance and welfare of the poor” and Mr. Modi becoming the longest-serving elected Prime Minister of independent India, the workers of BJP Baripada city branch on Wednesday offered Deepdan and Puja at the local large Jagannath temple. On this occasion, they expressed their gratitude to Thakur for the availability of the government and prayed for continued good governance and success of the government. Baripada MLA Prakash Chandra Soren, BJP State Spokesperson Kavivishnu Shetpathi, District Spokesperson Norottam Manigarahi and Sarbshri Lakshmidhar Habda, Vijay Kumar Das, Niranjan Das, Rasikananda Mishra, Tarun Palbabu, were present in the puja ceremony in a solemn atmosphere under the leadership of Baripada two city council presidents Subrata Mukhi and Shradhanjali Panda. Hundreds of party workers including Shambhunath Sahu, Vikas Barik, Sankarshan Panda, Kalpatru Raibabu, Rajiv Das Magar are reported to have attended.
