Baliguda: 11/6/2026 (Salmon Bindhani) Five criminal robbers have been arrested. Baliguda-Khamnakhol road played on the Dabudaka ghat. He did it again. He beat up a man and robbed him of 20,000 rupees, bike and mobile phone. Police arrested the accused after recovering the stolen goods. 3 bikes, 4 mobile phones and 20,000 rupees were seized from the accused. According to the information, on the 8th at around 10 am, a man named Ajay Kumar was leaving Barkhma on his motorcycle and was going to Balangir to his manager. On the way to Dabudaka ghat, 5 miscreants on two motorcycles suddenly stopped Ajay Kumar, beat him up and took away the cash of Rs. Ajay Kumar returned from there and filed a written complaint in Barakhma Fundi. According to the complaint, the fund officer Amarendra Bahubali Subudhi has taken quick action and arrested 5 accused involved in the incident. The arrested accused are Ajit Sahu and Ashish Putel of Belpada police station area of Balangir district, Rajnath Amat of Dhama police station area of Sambalpur district, Rithik Khamari and Shiv Patel of J. Rampur police station area of Subarpur district, while more investigation is going on.
