Daringbadi/226/026 (Fast News Odisha) Even after the completion of the construction of residential houses given in the financial year 2021-22, the beneficiaries are not getting the financial assistance they are supposed to get under the Mindaga scheme for the construction of residential houses. Subad Singh of Gahakia village in Sonpur Panchayat complained that despite his poor financial condition, he took out a loan to build the residential house, but half of it was short due to lack of money for plaster work. They are waiting for the grant received under Mindaga scheme to complete the house and they are not receiving any government assistance. They went to the Panchayat Samiti office and asked. They said that the money has gone to the bank accounts of two people. After investigation, the money has gone to the bank accounts of two people in the village. Who gave their bank account number to make the deposit, asked the village sathi and said, “I don’t know from where such a mistake has happened, then what can be done about it, please investigate it properly and bring back the money of my Mindaga Yojana,” Subad Singh alleged.
