10/04/2026 Fast News Odisha- A woman Dr. Shubhashree Bandita has joined the agriculture district office in K. Nuagao block of Kandhamal district for the first time as an agriculture district officer. She was previously working as the assistant director of agriculture and soil chemist in Koraput district Semiliguda. After being promoted as Agriculture District Officer, he took charge from the Group Agriculture Officer, Bibhupada Das, who is in additional charge here. All the agricultural workers of Daringabadi and K. Nuagaon Blocks under the said Agriculture Office welcomed the new officer. He also sought the help of farmers to focus on cultivation, soil testing, farmer registration and application of organic fertilizers. PPA Dibakar Sethi, Senior Assistant Rajesh Kumar Jena and Staff Arun Behera were present and welcomed all the staff members of the said program.
