
The President and the Prime Minister will attend the program on the occasion of the completion of two years of the Government of Odisha in Rairangpur, Mayurbhanj. The President and the Prime Minister will inaugurate various developmental projects worth more than Rs. 47,600 crores and lay the foundation. The President of India Mrs. Draupadi Murmu will also be present on this occasion, which will be an important and glorious moment for the state. On the 20th at around 11:15 AM, the President and Prime Minister will visit Pahadpur village in Mayurbhanj District. Later, both the leaders will offer prayers at Holy Santali Jahera and Ho Jahera, Abhiyan Center and Pahadpur School. The visit is expected to highlight ongoing efforts to strengthen educational opportunities, skill development and socio-economic empowerment in tribal areas and rural areas. At around 1 pm, the President and the Prime Minister will attend a program on the occasion of two years of the Odisha government at Rairangpur in Mayurbhanj. The theme of the program is “Development trends across Odisha”. During the programme, various developmental projects worth over Rs 47,600 crore will be inaugurated and foundation laid. Along with this, the Prime Minister will also address the gathering on the occasion. During the event, projects in key sectors including energy, industrial infrastructure, road connectivity, drinking water, health, education, tourism and irrigation will be inaugurated and foundation laid. These projects are expected to strengthen infrastructure, improve connectivity, increase energy security and create employment opportunities across Odisha. Reflecting the Prime Minister’s vision of inclusive and holistic development, these initiatives will further accelerate growth in tribal and rural areas and spread the benefits of development to every corner of the state. Major projects to be inaugurated include the 600 MW Upper Indravati Pumped Storage Project and Phase-II Expansion Project of IB Thermal Power Station. These projects will enhance energy security and support economic growth in Odisha. The foundation stone of the Bharat Coal Gasification and Chemicals Limited (BCGCL) project will also be laid at Lakhanpur in Jharsuguda district. It will promote clean utilization of domestic coal resources, reduce import dependency and create new industries and employment opportunities in the region. Among the projects to be laid foundation stone are a 300 TPD Source-Segregated Municipal Solid Waste-Based Compressed Biogas Plant in Bhubaneswar, a bridge over the Vadjodi river providing direct connectivity between Cuttack and Bhubaneswar, widening and strengthening of the Dhalpur-Harbhanga road in Boudh district and four-laning of a section of NH-353 from Nuapada to Ghatipada, Kusumdihi. These include Megalift Irrigation Project, IGNOU Regional Center and Indoor Badminton Complex at Rairangpur. Similarly, a 300-bed district headquarters hospital building will be inaugurated in Boudh, along with 24 Atal bus stands and 9 automated testing centers in various districts of Odisha. These projects are expected to strengthen healthcare and public transport infrastructure in the state. Other important projects to be inaugurated include Nayagarh Town Bypass on NH-57, underground pipeline portion of Kusumi Smart Irrigation Project, Jakhpura-Jajpur Kenjhar Road-Beitrani Road Multi-Tracking Project, Hindod Road-Meramandali Multi-Tracking Project, Sports Complex and Tribal Research Center at Rairangpur. Rairangpur/Bhubaneswar, 19/6: A glorious chapter is about to be written in the history of Odisha. The visit of the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi to Rairangpur in Mayurbhanj district is not only an official event, but a shining reflection of the Central Government’s strong resolve towards the development, empowerment and building of a self-reliant India in the tribal areas that will invigorate the hopes and aspirations of millions of tribal people of Odisha. For the first time in the history of Odisha, His Excellency the President and Hon’ble Prime Minister are going to be present on the same stage and address the public. On the occasion of this visit, Bivin infrastructure will be inaugurated and the foundation stone will be laid. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Odisha is scheduled for tomorrow. Before this, a press conference has been organized on behalf of Bharatiya Janata Party, Odisha today. In this conference held at Hotel Hindustan Inn in Rairangpur, the projects to be inaugurated by the State President Shri Samal Kah during his visit to Rairangpur tomorrow will strengthen connectivity, employment generation, industrial development and standard of living. This will strengthen the role of Mayor in the development journey of New India. In addition to this, Hon’ble Prime Minister will visit the President’s village for an hour and pay homage to the soil of Odisha on the occasion of the President’s birthday. He will also discuss with the local students. There are other programs as well. Whenever Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji has come to Odisha, he has never come empty-handed but has inaugurated or laid the foundation stone of a comprehensive plan for the prosperity and development of Odisha.
