Nuapada: An awareness camp about NALSA (Legal Services for Mentally Ill and Intellectually Disabled Persons) Scheme, 2024 has been organized at Biju Patnaik Mental Special School, Tanwat, under the auspices of the District Legal Services Authority. District Legal Services Authority Secretary Nabanita Das, School Chairperson Rajeshwari Samantha, and Rights Friends attended the camp and had a detailed discussion about NALSA (Legal Services for Mentally Ill and Intellectually Handicapped Persons) Scheme, 2024. On this occasion, the Secretary of the Authority, Navnita Das, highlighted the rights of mentally challenged and intellectually disabled persons and the various government schemes and free legal services available to them.
