Maliya, 11/04 : The residents of the area have complained that the road work under construction from Shinganiguda to Maliyamiguda, Tandaguda and Pamgeta under Malkangari District Malgiya block is of very low quality. Under construction by the Rural Development Department, the road has been raised at various places, but the road is completely raised near Rodanpally village. The local people saw the Pichu going up and could see that the road work was very low. In this regard, the villagers of Rodanpalli, Pamgeta, Metaguda and Singhaniguda asked the developer to improve the quality of work and drew the attention of the departmental officials. However, the developer ignored the villagers and tried to complete the work by spreading thin plaster on the old road. In addition, the villagers have complained that instead of using the iron rods of multiple poles under the construction of this road, some of the iron rods were buried in the pole walls. According to the information, the 75 cm two-layer metal of this 6 km 200 m long road is to be constructed, while the Pichu road is to be constructed using low quality materials. On asking the departmental engineer in this regard, he said that low quality work will not be accepted, he will supervise the work and take appropriate action. On the other hand, the villagers of three villages including Shinga Madkami, Sharat Beti, Bipin Muli, Santu Muli, Mara Kuram, Navin Muli have demanded that the construction of the road from Shinganiguda to Dunduguda and Pamgeta is of a very low standard.
