The district level ‘Entry Ceremony’ and ‘Khadijadu’ program at PM Sri National Government High School in Nuapada Sadar Mahkuma has been nurtured in an atmosphere of enthusiasm and joy. At the beginning of the program, Pujacharan of Shri Ganesha and Mother Saraswati was performed. In the dignified presence of District Governor Madhusudan Das, the children of the kindergarten and the first class were kicked off and their educational life was launched. Textbooks, bags and other educational materials were distributed to the newly admitted children. Various fun competitions were organized between the students and their parents on this occasion. Nuapada Block Chairperson Mrs. Tareshwari Sahu, District Education Officer Dr. Prashant Kumar Mohanty, Additional District Education Officer Dr. Reshmlal Naik, Group Teacher Ms. Gitarani Joshi, Educationist Dr. Shivaprasad Behera, District Science Inspector Girihari Sa, Principal Teacher Golap Chandra Sahu, District Project Office Coordinator Hemant Kumar Bhoi, Shubhendu Kumar Padhi, Kamal Potters were prominently present. In his address, the District Magistrate stressed the importance of education and encouraged all children to attend regular school and aim high. Similarly, the District Governor flagged off the flag and launched the Awareness Rath for all the blocks. All the teachers-learners, facilitators and coordinators actively cooperated for the successful implementation of the program. However, today, ‘Praesh Praesh’ and ‘Khadijadu’ programs have been organized in all the schools of the district.
