A district level promotion meeting has been held for the students who have succeeded in A-1 and A-2 grades in the 10th class board examination 2026 at the local National College in Nuapada District Education Office Anukully. Honorable MLA of Nuapada Jai ​​Bhai Dholkia attended the meeting under the chairmanship of District Governor Dhurusudan Das as the chief guest. Acting Superintendent Amritpal Singh, Upazilapal Surmi Soren, Chairperson of Notified Area Council Khariar Road Dr. Sonia Jain, Nuapada Block Chairperson Tareshwari Sahu, District Education Officer Dr. Prashant Kumar Mohanty, Additional District Education Officers Sudshanshu Shekhar Mishra and Dr. Reshmlal Naik, State Bank of India Nuapada Branch General Manager Lincoln Dash and College Chairman Hitesh Kumar Sahu attended as the chief guest of honor and congratulated the students and wished them bright future. The Superintendent advised the students about the importance of reading books to achieve goals and stay away from social media. The Upazilapal encouraged the children to dream big and fulfill them. MLA Jai Bhai Dholkia inspired the students to not give up in the struggle of life and move forward. He awarded Rs. 31 thousand, Rs. 21 thousand and Rs. 11 thousand as incentives to the students who won the first, second and third places in the district. District Governor Dhurusudan Das congratulated the students and said that it is the most difficult thing to be a simple person in life and called upon everyone to make Nuapada district top in the field of education. It is noteworthy that Nuapada district has ranked sixth in the state in the 10th class board exam-2026 with 97.87 percent pass rate. In this, 13 people got A-1 and 226 people got A-2 grade and created a new record of success. All the meritorious students were felicitated by the guests with plaques, gifts and bouquets. However, Nuapada district improved from 30th place in 2024 matric examination to 14th place in 2025 and 6th place in 2026. Behind this success is the main role of the “Possibilities Program” under the guidance of the District Collector. District Education Officer Dr. Prashant Kumar Mohanty delivered the welcome speech while District Science Inspector Girhari Sa delivered the vote of thanks. Teacher Gorang Sahu moderated the program. All district and block level officials participated in the program and encouraged the students. All the teachers-students, head teachers-students, instrumentalists, coordinators, group teachers and all the staff of the entire educational system contributed to the successful implementation of the program.
