Baripada, (14/06): Additional District Magistrate Baripada and Electoral Registration Officer Ladsahi Mr. Chukabandhu Naik, OAS(S), visited Payless Block to review the progress of enumeration form digitization of Ladsahi Constituency under the Special Consolidation Amendment-2026 in the district under the direction of Election Commission of India. During the visit, Mr. Nayak reviewed the overall progress of Enumeration Form Digitization work under SIR-2026 and emphasized on the quality aspect of the work done by the BLOs. He expressed the opinion that the transparency and credibility of the election process will be strengthened by carrying out the digitization work in an accurate, accurate and timely manner. On this occasion, Mr. Prafulla Kumar Das, BLO of Booth No.-219 and Ms. Annapurna Dasbabu, BLO of Booth No.-224, who successfully completed 100 percent digitization of the enumeration forms well before the scheduled time, were felicitated. Mr. Nayak opined that their determination, commitment and excellent performance is an inspiration to other BLOs. He further said that the role of BLOs is very important in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of voter list. Public confidence in the electoral system is strengthened by effective performance. Therefore, he suggested that every BLO must carry out his duties seriously. Tahsildar and Assistant Election Registration Officer of 32-Badsahi (Scheduled Caste) Assembly Constituency Mr. Chandrajit Behera, Assistant District Collector Ms. Mansi Tarai and GPD Ms. Malti Priya Murmu were present in this review and enhancement program. At the end of the program, the officers present appreciated the dedicated service and responsibility of the BLOs and called upon them to continue working with such determination in the days to come.
