Baripada, (2/06): An awareness drive was launched for Baripada Constituency today to increase public awareness and ensure active voter participation regarding the Special Constituency Amendment (SIR)-2026 programme. Baripada Sub-District Collector and Baripada Constituency Electoral Registration Officer Ms. Kasturi Panda inaugurated the awareness drive by displaying the green flag. Public participation is essential for the preparation of an accurate, up-to-date and comprehensive electoral roll under the Special Assembly Amendment-2026. For this purpose, the awareness vehicle will tour the various blocks and rural areas of Baripada constituency to convey the information regarding the revision of voter list to the people. Information related to name addition, deletion, correction and migration in voter list will be disseminated through Rath and voters will be encouraged to actively cooperate in this process. Apart from this, the administration has requested all the citizens to participate in the Special Election Amendment-2026 program and play an active role in preparing an accurate and reliable voter list.
